About us

Built in Cameroon, for how we move money.

LBPay is made by Looping Binary, a software team in Cameroon. We're building the payments app we always wanted for our families, our friends, and the businesses on our street.

Why LBPay

Money at home shouldn't be hard.

In Cameroon, almost everyone has Mobile Money. But MTN and Orange are two separate worlds. Sending between them means finding an agent, guessing the fee, and hoping the money arrives.

Small businesses take payments on three phones and reconcile in a notebook. Saving is a promise to yourself that's easy to break. And developers who want to accept payments have to integrate every network on their own.

LBPay puts it all in one place: one wallet, one @handle, both networks, and every fee shown before you pay. Simple enough for your mother, solid enough for your business.

What we believe

Four promises we build by.

Show the fee. Always.

If we can't show you the exact cost before you confirm, we don't ship it. No margins hidden in a rate.

Your PIN, your money.

Nothing moves without you. Every payment, every withdrawal, every time.

Plain words, two languages.

English and French, written so anyone can understand what just happened to their money.

Built for here.

MTN and Orange, XAF, njangi-style saving, WhatsApp selling. We design for how Cameroon already works.

Where we are

Honest about today. Excited about tomorrow.

LBPay is young, and we'd rather tell you exactly what works than promise what doesn't yet.
